Artbooking Made Easy: Crush on Artbooking
I have been having so much fun helping my Grand kids make their own Crush Book. I always save my leftovers and bit and pieces. I we have been using them in their books. I have little zip lock bags in both of their book and when I have little things leftover I put them in their for them to use.
If you need some ideas to get you started you need to watch this video.
Have fun when you make yours.

Another Altered Box
Well Jenn did this box. She pulled out some of my older paper packs and chose Sofia. She also used flowers stickers and brads to embellish this box. We have several boxes that will fit in the cubbies of my Expedite so you can expect to see lots more of them.
The only thing she used that is current is the zipper ribbon at the bottom. I love how it turned out. This box will hold projects that I want to do.

My Scrapbook Room 2014
Okay well I am pretty well organized thanks to my wonderful DIL Jenn. We still have lots to do but it is presentable now.
My first scrapbook room was my sons room when he moved out. It was upstairs and some of my customers had a hard time going up and down the stairs. Now I am down stairs after the daunting task of moving everything. The nice part is that we literally had to touch everything. In doing so we had lots of piles to keep, to recycle, and to put in a garage sale. WOW was that a job. Everyone pitched in to help. You never know how much you really have until you try to move it. What a great feeling it is to be done with that part. You can see my old scrapbook room here!
This is what it looks like now.
Here is the Expedite that was in my other room and I was happy when it fit perfectly in here next to the window.
Here is a small wall next to the closet that I knew I would put all my Ikea towel holders on to hang my baskets and punches on. I sold all my punches except these basic shapes in my garage sale. I mainly use my Cricut or my Imagine to cut any shape I need.
This is the desk in my room. My DIL Jenn wants to paint it and I think that will be the next project. You can see how she painted my hutch here. I will have to add a picture of the old vanity of my MIL that she painted for my Granddaughter.
Here are all my stamp sets they are in baskets that I got from Ikea and cataloged in the binder next to the black bins. Idea books are in a little shelf unit that was in my house when I was growing up. I painted it white and put a flower print vinyl for the backing to the shelves. My ink towers are on a glass shelf that I had and they sit on the 2 kids toy holders The pictures are from a trip to Italy, Positano and the Forum in Rome. I use my dry erase board for anything I am doing in class or that I want to make for upcoming events.
This is my new and bigger Expedite from Ikea for all my paper. The stainless steel cart holds my Imagine and some of my Cricut cartridges. The long picture is of Capri Italy.

This is my table that will seat 10 but I like to keep it to 8. It is a sheet of steel that my husband sprayed painted white and adhered to a sheet of plywood for stability the legs are from Ikea and my 3 Grand kids love to play under the table and use the shelves for their play things and games. All the dogs love to lay in the sun under the sliding glass door. It has a little something for everyone.
Well that is it for the tour. I love scrapbooking, cardmaking, and paper crafting. Thank you for stopping by and spending some time with me. Leave me a comment and let me know what you think or if you have any questions.

Altered Idea Book Box
I was cleaning up my scrapbook room/classroom trying to get more organized for my classes this month. I had all my ribbon in a tub and it was a mess so I had to stop and figure out what to do with all of it. I need to see it and I wanted to make it cute too!
I had a bunch of CTMH boxes and I wanted to re-purpose at least some of them rather than throwing them out in the recycling bin.
For some reason I seem to collect a lot of ribbon. It is one of those things that you can not have enough. Am I right?
Well I garbed a older paper pack (because I don't have any of my new ones yet)! Maybe you can guess which one I used.
Leave it in the Comments section if you know which one it is.
I left the flaps up and added some cardstock strips to keep the flaps in place. The Ribbon in from my stash and the 2 felt pink flowers and the 1 grey felt flower were left from my Frosted WOTG kit. The paper pink flower is from the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge
Here it is in my Expedite from Ikea.
Now with the help of my DIL Jenn, off to clean the rest of it up. Check back I will have more pictures of my scrapbook room as we get it organized again. UGH What an ongoing process that is.
Happy Scraping!

Happy New Year, Frosted Layout
We just closed out 2013 and now into 2014. Looking back it was a pretty good year for our family. I hope it was for your family too.
My Granddaughter was in the Nutcracker before Christmas. She was a Magical Christmas Tree. What a beautiful Christmas Tree she was. With all the pictures I took at dress rehearsal I thought I better do a Layout for her. So here it is.
They had 2 shows and she danced in both. I was so proud of her.
I used the Frosted Workshop on the Go G1070 and I think it was the perfect one for her Nutcracker. It matched the background to the theater perfectly. With the WOTG you get everything you need to complete this layout. You get the paper pack, Stamp set, embellishments, and complete guide with cutting instructions, placement, and stamping. The only thing you need to supply is the ink and of course the pictures.
Do you love to scrapbook or make cards. Join me in one of my classes. You can see my schedule on My Classes, Workshops, and Club Schedules.
