Artfully Sent Bridal Shower Card page 32

Related Posts Plugin for WordPress, Blogger...Here is another Artfully Sent card. It is the Bridal Shower card from page 32.  It is for a fall wedding in fall colors.  I just love the way it turned out. I hope the Bride to be liked it too!
This cartridge is so full of great cards it is hard to pick one some times but this one was easy.  The overlay pocket card is from page 37.  It is backed with a different colored card stock. The leaves were the cut outs colored with leaf green and put back in place. I put some Ribbon from my stash around the stems.  It still needed a little something don't you think?

For the inside it was just a matter of cutting and pasting and folding.  The only thing different is that I cut the umbrella in 2 different colors and hid all the holes on the bottom one.  So simple but beautiful.

Back to the front.  I could not leave alone so I added Congratulations.  I did a search in the Design Space and found it. Sorry but I don't remember where I found it.  It was straight but we liked it better with the curve and it was very easy to shape it that way.

Thanks for stopping by and I will have more Artfully Sent soon.  I you have something you would like to see just leave me a comment.
You can order your Artfully Sent cartridge here.  It really is a must have.

Artfully Sent Fall Card Multipul Pages

Related Posts Plugin for WordPress, Blogger...Well It was only a matter of time before I had to make it my own.  This card uses several different cuts from several different cards on the Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge.
I love the birch tree looking card.  It is on page 5 > sleeve.  The Bunny and the Deer are from page 12 > Icon, I copy and pasted it so I would have 2. The Bird and the Mat are from page 47 > Icon.  I wrote Welcome Fall with my Explore and colored in with our ShinHan touch Twin markers in the fall colors.  I sponged the mat with Pacifica ink. I drew the eye, wing, and tail feathers on the bird in black

I placed a Pacifica piece of cardstock on the inside for the background.  I cut 2 of the Deer and Bunny one in Daisy White and one in Champagne I colored the eyes and ears on the Daisy White one and then layered it under the Champagne this way the white dots and the pink ears would show up better. I used Peacock Green, Vivid Green, Sap Green to color in the grass under them.

You can order Here!
Keep checking back I have a lot more planned.

Birthday Card in a box

Related Posts Plugin for WordPress, Blogger...I had so much fun making this one.  My friend Helen came to me and asked me to help with a birthday card for her 5 year old Great Granddaughter.  She brought me the invitation so I could see the theme of the party.  I got excited when I saw it was going to be on a Ranch and that she was wearing cowboy boots in the picture on the invitation.  After asking some questions we came up with this card in a box.
When the box is all closed up this is what you see.  I use the B1467 You Mean The World To Me
and the Old West Cricut Cartridge.

When you open it up you get all this.  I love how it turned out.  I think she is going to love it.  When my Granddaughter saw it she said she loved it.  I am hoping that Makayla will too.

Here is the side view.  We added lots of glitter paper, a gem for the horses eye.

I just love a good challenge.  How about you?

I love making things with a horse theme.

Artfully Sent Halloween Card Page 43

Related Posts Plugin for WordPress, Blogger...Today I made the Web card from page 43 in the Artfully Sent handbook.  I loved the web and wanted to do it with our Glitter Paper.  The card is cut from the Sliver sheet in the Z1829 Black and Grey Glitter pack.  They cut so nice on the Cricut Explore I used the heavy cardstock setting and it work perfect.  I cut the spider from the Black sheet and the flower that I used for the spiders body was from Z1686 Art Philosophy.  I also used The Z1790 Artiste for the sentiment from page 77.  I love using the A1795 Quilling Tool for rolling the flowers.  It is so much easier to use and I haven't ripped one in half since I bought it.

Here is a side view I used 3-D Foam tape to pop up the sentiment and I cut another web from the Artfully Sent one of the Icons from page 43 too.  The ink I used was Black and Thistle.
This was a very fast and fun card to make.  I can't believe how easy it is to make them with the Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge. If you haven't gotten yours yet you can order it HERE!

Keep checking back I have more Artfully Sent cards to come.

Artfully Sent Candy Corn Kisses

Related Posts Plugin for WordPress, Blogger...Here is another fast and fun card from the Z3017 Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge.  This one is from page 44 it is one of Sentiment cards.  I could not resist using the ShinHan Touch Twin markers on this one.  I used the Marigold and Golden Yellow on a piece of Daisy White cardstock that I put on the inside of the card.  The minute I took this card off the mat it screamed the Z1988 Black Striped Twill Ribbon on one side or the other.  The bats were from another project and just laying on my table so I stuck them one and it made me smile.  I also stuck on one the inside too!

Z3017 Artfully Sent Trick or Treat Card

Related Posts Plugin for WordPress, Blogger...I love the Trick or Treat Card that Close to My Heart has on our website so I wanted to make one too.
I cut it using Z3017 Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge and our Fundamentals Paper Pack that have a shiny embossed side and the back side is a matching mat side.  This one is the Black with the Chevrons on it.
This is what it looks like after you cut it out.

The inside is the Black and White Chevrons.  I used our Z1928 Teal Shimmer Ribbon and the scraps I had left over from the X7185B Scaredy Cat Paper Pack and a piece Z5772 Canary cardstock.  I like how it looks.

On the inside I stamped the pumpkin from B1453 Frightfully Fun in Autumn Terracotta .  I stamped the happy haunting in Gypsy at an angle (not what I meant to do) so I stamped the Trick or Treat in Black at an angle too! It didn't look right so I added one more stamp frightening fun in Canary.  Not to bad for a mistake! In this picture you can see the other side of the Fundamentals black cardstock. I cut and piece of Daisy White cardstock for each side on the inside.

I colored in the pumpkin with Marigold and Light Orange ShinHan Touch-Twin Markers.
Thanks for stopping by.
More Artfully Sent cards to come.

Update to the Snowhaven Pop-Up Card Box

Related Posts Plugin for WordPress, Blogger...How do you create?
I find that when I make something I have to leave it out and keep looking at it. Then I will add what I think is needed.  Sometimes it is not an easy process but I do love doing it.
I knew this one needed something but I was not sure what.  After putting on the Teal Glitter paper it still need more but more what?  I had some Z1263 Bitty Sparkles but they are clear so I colored them with ShinHan Twin Touch Alcohol markers. I really love how well they color and blend. So I used the Z2448 Carmine one to color the bitty sparkles red.  I use one on the Deer's nose. I use them on the little branches on each side of the box and I use some clear ones one the front above the front flap.  I use one clear one on each of the mittens in the center of the snowflakes.  I looked through my stash and found the pearl pin with the banner! Perfect! I love using my stash up.  How about you?
Here is the completed box card.                             You can see how I started here

I really like the Teal Glitter paper.  You can see the bitty sparkles on the little branches.
Here is a view from the side

Here is the back side where you would put your sentiment or what ever you wanted to say.
I really should have sponged the whole thing.  Well I guess that means I will be making another one!  LOL!!!

Snowhaven Pop-up Card Box

Have you made a Card in a box yet?  They are so easy and fun to make.  This one I made with the X7188B Snowhaven Paper Pack and the X7188CSnowhaven Compliments. It does not take very long to make one. You can find lots of tutorials and lots of different sizes. This one is a 6x6.  If you want to put it in a reg envelope that you will need to make sure that nothing sticks up past the edges of the card.
It looks like a regular card at first. But when you open it up! Surprise!!!

Here it is open.  I used the X7188C Snowhaven Compliments chipboard pieces to decorate it along with the Zip strip from the top of the paper.  I added some snowflakes that I cut out with my Cricut Explore using the Z1991Teal Glitter paper.

Guess I will need to add a little something to the front in between the flower and the Rt hand mitten.
What do you think?
If you would like a how to tutorial just leave me comment and I will put one up.
Thanks for stopping by.
Check back tomorrow for the update!!!

Bon Appetit Dinner Party meets the Cricut Explore

Related Posts Plugin for WordPress, Blogger...Last month was my turn to host our monthly Cooking Club.  Their are 5 of us and what fun we have preparing, cooking, and serving what we have made.  I thought I would share with you my table setting, well the place card, menu, and thank you for coming gift.  I made them with my Cricut Explore.  I have seen the menu in the Make It Now projects, I loved it and wanted to make it.  I used the customize it and this is what I made.
The gift box is from Sweet Tooth Boxes. The place card I don't remember but if you do the search for place setting it comes up. I added the text to the place card with the Cricut Explore write feature.  The menu is from the Make it now projects on the Cricut Explore.  I customized it with what we were having for dinner.  I really love how it all turned out.
The gift box has cooking Seasoned Salt for different parts of the world. I placed them in the Close To My Heart clear cello bags tied it up with CTMH ribbon and the tag is from the new Print then Cut images from the Cricut Explore.

I did not take a close up of the place setting but here is the table. My granddaughter set the table and she had a great time putting it all together. She was our hostess and seated everyone and sever all the food and the dessert.
The table, and hutch were my original set from the 70's.  My DIL Jenn did a chalk paint treatment on them and the wall sconces then finished them with a wax.  I love how it turned out.
