November Kard Swap

Our November Kard Swap theme was Thanksgiving or Fall.  I did mine using the CTMH SOTM from September S1609 Blessed Beyond Measure.  I just love the Fall colors and all the Holidays that come with it too!
I had given out all my card from our swap before I took pictures of all of them.  So you will only get to see my mine.  Sorry about that!  Things just happen so fast sometimes or maybe my brain is just working slower these days.  I know you probably know the feeling.  Well some do anyway.  LOL!

Here are the cards that I made.

Here is the stamp set I used S1609 Blessed Beyond Measure.  Every month is a different stamp set and you can only get it for that month.  If you spend $50.00 or more you can get the SOTM for only $5.00.  This stamp set also has coordinating Cricut cuts from the CTMH Artbooking cartridge Z1906 for the leaves and the pumpkin.

I sponged the Leaves with Saffron, Poppy, Goldrush and Topiary to give them that Fall color look. The pumpkin is stamped with Goldrush.
The Wheat is cut our in Desert Sand and the sash in Glacier

Artfully Sent Fall Card Multipul Pages

Related Posts Plugin for WordPress, Blogger...Well It was only a matter of time before I had to make it my own.  This card uses several different cuts from several different cards on the Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge.
I love the birch tree looking card.  It is on page 5 > sleeve.  The Bunny and the Deer are from page 12 > Icon, I copy and pasted it so I would have 2. The Bird and the Mat are from page 47 > Icon.  I wrote Welcome Fall with my Explore and colored in with our ShinHan touch Twin markers in the fall colors.  I sponged the mat with Pacifica ink. I drew the eye, wing, and tail feathers on the bird in black

I placed a Pacifica piece of cardstock on the inside for the background.  I cut 2 of the Deer and Bunny one in Daisy White and one in Champagne I colored the eyes and ears on the Daisy White one and then layered it under the Champagne this way the white dots and the pink ears would show up better. I used Peacock Green, Vivid Green, Sap Green to color in the grass under them.

You can order Here!
Keep checking back I have a lot more planned.

November Krafty Kard Swap

Related Posts Plugin for WordPress, Blogger...We had a great time at Lani's for our Krafty Kard Swap for November.  It is so fun to see what everyone makes and get together with the Ladies too.
This month was a Fall card.  I was unable to complete mine but I will have them ready for the next one which is either a Christmas Card or a Tag your choice. So I will come up with one of each...

I love the fall colors.  I am always drawn to them.  Here are what the Ladies did.

The first one is Laurie's card.  She used Memory Box die cuts and trimmed it around the pear.  The background is embossed with fall leaves.

Pam made a Thanksgiving card, the Tag and pie were cut with the Cricut and Paper Dolls.  I love how the string on the tag hangs off the card.  Pam also embossed her card too.

Next is Debb's Fall card she use the Artbooking and Chore Chart Cricut cartridges to cut it all out.
Then she used some glitter to glitz it up.

Tamara used leaves, different textured and colored yarn for the tie, and some Gem leaves.  Tamara also embossed the background with a spider web.

Jeannine's card is a tri-fold card which is a die cut.  It is held closed with a bow that she cut out with the Artist Cricut cartridge and a Gem brad.  It is embossed with Thankful sayings.

Erin's card is random stamped with leaves and acorns on the background and a vintage image that she got off the internet then she put some glitter on it.  I love the little squirrel and the Turkey's.

Last but not least is this months host Lani.  Her card has lots of layers on it from the leaves that she scored and folded, a doily, an acorn and some ribbon.

Lani also had a demonstration for us on a tri-fold card.  Erin showed us how to use the Sizzix and the magnetic die.   It is so cute with gingerbread man.  Thanks Lani and Erin we all had a great time.  For some reason I did not make it home with 2 of the cards so when I get them I will update this post.  So keep checking back.

Can't wait for next month.  Thanks Ladies!

Krafty Kard Klub Swap for October 2013

What a great time we had at our Swap this month.  Our theme this month was of course was Halloween.  We have 11 ladies now so here they all are.  Have fun!

This was mine I made it with the Artbooking Z1906 Cricut Cartridge and the Eek & Shriek  Stamp set B1429

Here is Kathy's, the embossing folder is Cuttlebug's Skelton Scrolls and the stickers are from Jolene's

Jody's card is cut with the Happy Hauntings Cartridge and embossed with polka dots.

Jeannine's Card was cut using the Artist cartridge, Paper Dolls and stamped with peachy keen face stamps and Close To My Heart stamps.

Donna Jean's card is cut using the Happy Hauntings cartridge and embossed. She also used some Washi Tape.

Debb's card is embossed with a spider web design and the jar is stamped on some plastic and cut out.  The spiders are stamped glittered.

Erin's card has a pre-printed design so each card had a different design to it.

Tamara's card is made with torn paper and the bats are punched out.  She also used goggly eyes.

Lani's card is made with a Tim Holtz die and the ghosts were cut out with the Cricut.

Laurie's card is a Battery operated tea light holder.  She used Spellbinders for the web and Memory Box Stamps.  Be sure to only use a Battery operated tea light!

Pam is our newest member.  The shoe is cut with Happy Hauntings.  We are glad she joined the group.

Happy Halloween

Card Swap Group Nov 2012 Video

Related Posts Plugin for WordPress, Blogger...Here are the cards that everyone made for our Card Swap. We meet every month and have a great time. This month was my turn to host the group. You can see all the other ones here!
Sorry for the photo but my Nikon got dropped while we were in Disneyland last week and the lens was sheered off so I have to use my long lens only. It doesn't quit hook up right either. I had to stand at the other end of the room to be able to fit all the cards in.
Not sure what to do about my camera now?????
I made a short YouTube video so you can see them all up close.

Give Thanks

This is the card that I made for our Nov. card swap group.  Related Posts Plugin for WordPress, Blogger...I am using this card in Mojo Monday Card Challenge,  Heart 2 Heart ChallengeFantabulous Cricut Challenge.  I was inspired by the photo this week and the sketch.  We had just come back from Disneyland for Halloween.  What a great time the family had.  My Mom 92, my Son his wife, my Daughter and all 3 Grand kids, my Husband and myself.  We were 4 generation literally from 1 to 92.  I was realizing how grateful I am that we love to all be together and how close we all are.
We ate at the Rain Forest Cafe in Disneyland one night; we make it a point to go there every visit.  The kids love all the things going on with the waterfalls, lighting and thunder as well as all the animals.
You can see the Pumpkin Box here.

While we were there I heard from a very close friend that her Granddaughter was just born and had to have surgery right away. So sad for someone that small to go through all that and the family too! Little Shelby has been in our thoughts and prayers. She is doing great after her surgery.
I have so much to be Thankful for in my life. This card is just a little reflection of that.  So the Give Thanks was the perfect saying for this card.
Sorry for the long story but I just wanted to let you know how truly Thankful I am.

Pick O' The Patch Card CTMH Stamp of the Month

Related Posts Plugin for WordPress, Blogger...
I used the CTMH Stamp of the Month Fall Favorites S1209 for this card. It is another card we did at my card class this month.
This is done with Close To My Heart Watercolor Pencils 3505 and a Blending Pen 3174.  I stamped in black ink 1386  the image of the Scarecrow and colored him in.  Then I used the Blending Pen to smooth all the colored areas and what a difference that makes.  I love how that works!

I random stamped the background with another stamp on the same set.  I used a leftover strip piece that comes on each B&T paper this one is from the Clementine paper pack X7156B.  The Pick o' the patch is from the same stamp set and stamped on a cut out from the Artiste Cricut cartridgeZ1790.  It is popped up with 3D foam tape Z1151.
This is the inside and it is stamped with another image from the Fall Favorites S1209.  It is stamped and colored in with the watercolor pencils too.  It is easy to make the colors very intense or very light.  Simple, simple, simple.
You can see that this is a very useful stamp set for this season.  I love making these cards and I think everyone in class did too.

You can order everything you need here.
Have you tried to us the watercolor pencils yet?
Check out what Elaine did with this stamp too
