Kard Klub Swap May 2108
It's been awhile since I have posted about cards I have made so this will be a change of pace from my Mini Albums. Our theme this month was Clocks or Time. I have had a hard time coming up with an inspiration for any of my cards lately and I am sure it showed in my end result. This time was different. I first started with Pinterest but no luck. I just bought the Graphic 45 Square Tag & Clock Metal Die (not even thinking about the theme for this month).
I got out the Die and started staring at it. I decided to just cut one of the clocks out with CTMH Gold Glitter paper and see if I like it. I loved it.
I had purchased some paper doilies that I bought when I was at a crop at It's all about the Scrapbook. Then I got my new Floral Shoppe paper from G45. Wow, it's gorgeous.
I did purchase all my G45 and die at Country Craft Creations
The finished product. My sentiment, Every moment is a gift, fit with our theme of Clock or Time.
It fits into my life at that moment too! I have a good friend that is in the hospital on life support and thinking about her and her family at this time was how I came up with this sentiment.
I am all set and ready to go with my cards. I always make 12 and bring home the extras. I really never remember how many of us there are.
So let's get started with the first card in the group. Grab your favorite beverage and here we go!
This card was made by Debb she stamped it with the clock stamp from CTMH called Make It count and the Embossing folder that she used was by Darcie.
This one was made by Donna.
She used a shimmer paper, and the same embossing folder as Debb did.
Then Jeannine used the Cricut cartridge Sophisticated to cut the clock out and a Stampin Up stamp set Timeless Treasures and the flower is from Petite Petals
Cathy used a printable from Pinterest for her Cuckoo Clock and then embellished it with punches, dies, and gems
Lynn's card is made with various Anna Griffith items. She used a variety of items from different packs
Laurie made hers a Cuckoo Clock too. I love this paper. She used a Tattered Lace Die.
Kathy our hostess made this one it is cut from the CTMH Artiste Cricut cartridge
This is Erin's card her and I both used the same die from G45 Square tag and Clock die. This card is beautiful and shows up better in my video.
This one is mine and you already read all about in the beginning.
Here is the video that you can watch that has them all.
Thanks for stopping by. If you have any questions about any of the cards just let me know.

My Challenge to Myself
Have you ever given yourself a challenge? Well I did. I was almost finished with cleaning my Craft room this morning. I was down to my actual table. Wow was that a feat in itself! I had bits of cardstock that I hadn't put away yet. Bits and pieces of projects past. You know what I mean.
I have bins of scraps that are marked with different color that I can use and my Grandkids know that they can use without asking if they can. I didn't want to put these pieces in the bins because that would involve walking into the closet again and I didn't want to. LOL! I held them in my hand and said these colors really don't even go together.
I had my new Embossing Folded and my new Thin Cut Dies also on the table so I decided cut out squares of 3x3 and emboss each new Embossing Folder so I could put them in my stack that my customers could easily see what each Folder looks like on cardstock. I finished that and still had cardstock left over.
Next I got out my binder that I am storing my new Thin Cut Dies in and started cutting each Die so they could see them too. Then I was left with littler scraps. I had a tag and a banner piece on my table too.
Here is my card of miss matched colors. I kind of like it. To bad I didn't have any pattern paper or stamp sets or inks on my table but that was my challenge. Only use what is on my table and nothing else.
The white banner is embossed with the new Happy Thoughts Z3249 embossing folder
The love Thin Cut Z3257 and Thin Cut Hearts Z3260. Luckly I had the Whimsy Ribbon Pack Z3287 still setting on my table. I off set the ribbon and used the Mini Stapler to hold it together. Yep that was on my table too. Lucky me. What was your last challenge?
Cardstock:
Cranbery 1272 Celebrate and hearts
Honey sorry this is discontinued Hearts
Emerald X5783 Thanks and Hello
Crystal Blue 1292 Tag
Sorbet X5751 Love and Happy
Kraft Z1375
You can check it all out here

I made an assorted batch of note cards. I think they turned out cute and I love the Fundamental Paper pack too. That is the on of the new Washi Tapes on the side of each card.

Fast Batik Card using CTMH C1607 Someone Special
I love Batik fabrics and when I saw this stamp set C1607 Someone Special I knew exactly what I would make with it. It was a very fast and easy card to make. I just stamped off the overlay flower and used the 2nd and 3rd generation on the card
I used Gold polka dot Washi tape and some bling. I stamped the flower both the mat and the overlay on a separate piece of Daisy White along with the leaves then I just used thick 3D Foam Tape behind the flower and the thin behind the leaves. I sponged around everything in Sunset. Then stamped the sentiment and that was it. I backed it with Black and then placed it on a Kraft card. I put everything that I used in the picture. Well I guess I forgot the paper trimmer!!! But really that is it.
Inks are
Honey, Sunset, Olive, Black

Update to the Snowhaven Pop-Up Card Box
I find that when I make something I have to leave it out and keep looking at it. Then I will add what I think is needed. Sometimes it is not an easy process but I do love doing it.
I knew this one needed something but I was not sure what. After putting on the Teal Glitter paper it still need more but more what? I had some Z1263 Bitty Sparkles but they are clear so I colored them with ShinHan Twin Touch Alcohol markers. I really love how well they color and blend. So I used the Z2448 Carmine one to color the bitty sparkles red. I use one on the Deer's nose. I use them on the little branches on each side of the box and I use some clear ones one the front above the front flap. I use one clear one on each of the mittens in the center of the snowflakes. I looked through my stash and found the pearl pin with the banner! Perfect! I love using my stash up. How about you?
Here is the completed box card. You can see how I started here
I really like the Teal Glitter paper. You can see the bitty sparkles on the little branches.
Here is a view from the side
Here is the back side where you would put your sentiment or what ever you wanted to say.
I really should have sponged the whole thing. Well I guess that means I will be making another one! LOL!!!
