Display Album page for July

Here is the July page for our Display Album Z1054.  Jenn used our new Avonlea G1041 WOTG Cardmaking Kit paper pack and our new Artiste  Z1790 Cricut cartridge and the Aug SOTM Baroque Borders S1208 and our new Slate Satin Polka-Dot Ribbon Z1082.  Just a little taste of the things to come in our new Autumn/Winter Idea Book 2012

You can see 2 of the Doily's from the New Artiste Cricut cartridge stamped with the Avonlea Cardmaking Worshop Flair C1527.  The Slate Satin Polka-Dot Ribbon is gorgous.  I love all the new products in the Idea Book you can see it here.  (Not so fast you'll have to wait till Aug 1, 2012).  So be sure to check back.

My Creations Display Album for June 2012

My Creations Display Album for April 2012

Jenn my DIL is the greatest. She came up with this one for our Display Album Z1054 from one of the doilies that I have hanging on my wall.  She made the size so that she could get 4 on one 12 x12 page.  Jenn also used the Lucy Workshop on the Go G1034 the Stamp Set comes with the Lucy Workshop on the Go.  Inks used are Blush, Pear, Grey Wool, Garden Green.

Here it is:

 The flowers in the center of the page are cut with the AP cart the sizes are listed on the stamp set next to each stamp that has a coordinating cut.  It is a 2 step stamp actually 3 if you count the Cricut cut.  It has the outline stamp and the fill in stamp that fit perfectly  when paired with the Cricut cut from the CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge. 

The background for the April was a 2 layer Cricut cut from the AP cart too.  This cartridge is so versatile and has so many uses that I rarely use my punches. 

Oh yes!  The Butterfly I can’t forget the Butterfly it is also a cut from the AP cart. And a matching stamp on the same set.  Then to top it off Jenn used Bitty Sparkles Z1263 and Liquid Glass Z679 and Paradise Paper Flowers Z1710.

My Creations Display Album March 2012

Jenn did it again, she came up with a cute and simple design using the CTMH Stella paper pack.  The stamp set is from the Workshop on the Go for Stella (you can see the WOTG here).  What a great page this is.  I just love the colors in the paper pack it is very versitile.  The blind hem stiching is a stamp that is also included in the same stamp set.
The March stamp is from an older stamp set but it worked well with this page.  The 4 leaf clover is made from 4 hearts cut out with the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge.

February My Creations Display Album

Here is the February page for our Display Album that we are making in class every month.  My DIL Jennifer makes creates these and the Ladies in class love them.  Jenn does a great job creating these and February is no exception.  The page says it all.  The hearts are cut out using the Cricut and the Art Philosophy cartridge.
When you have to cut 20 per album page and we have 15 ladies in our group well the Cricut is the star.  You just pick your image, pick your size, and the quantity.  When you use the quantity key you don't have to count them one by one.  It keeps track for you.  If you ask it to cut 100 and it will only cut 75 per page it will keep all the info.  You just put a new paper on your mat load it and press cut, it will cut the other 25 for you.  So simple!

January My Creations Display Album

I almost forgot to post the January page of our Display Album that we made in December.  My DIL creates these pages for the My Creations Display Album Z1054.  Everyone in class seems to love what she does.  I know that I do.  When I asked in class what they would like to do in this coming year everyone said more cards, and can we just keep going with the Display Album so we have new pages for the up coming year.  So guess what!  Jenn agreed to keep doing them.  So I will just keep posting them. 

Just in case you didn't know....  These would make great 12x12 scrapbook pages too.  I hope that you can see the shimmer on the top of the page it is always hard to photograph.  She used the spray pen with water and pearl paint, no ink.  The picture does not do this justice in any way.  The Daisy White ink does not show up very well either.  But in person it is beautiful.  The stamped saying on the bottom right says Winter Wonderland.  Have I mentioned in this post yet that I Love the Art Philosophy Cartridge from Close To My Heart. Well I do!  Cutting out all the snowflakes and the snowballs for everyone in class or trying to make multiple card with these on them would take for ever.  Now with the Cricut you just select the total that you need and press cut and it is done.  I just love that.  No more punching or scissors to get the job done.  With the complementary Stamp images that are available from CTMH it makes a perfect fit.  The stamp sets have the size that you need to cut it out at right on the stamp set.  No more waisted paper trying to fiugre it out.

December Display Album with Holiday Wishes and Art Philosophy

Well Jenn did it again! This months Display Album was a big hit in class.  My DIL has done a super job with this and I think she is having a great time coming up with the Ideas too.  Jenn used the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge for all the cuts.  Jenn also used the new Holiday Wishes CC1015 stamp set to stamp over the Art Philosophy ornament cuts. You can get the Holiday Wishes stamp set this month for $5.00 when you order $25.00 or more of My Acrylix Stamp Sets.  That is a great deal!!! 
They are stamped with StazOn, Black for that striking bold look.  The Red Glitz Glitter Gel adds the perfect bling with it red sparkle.  The Black, White, and Cranberry make it look very elegant as well.  The whole class just loved it. 

 You can't see the red sparkles in the picture but trust me it's there.

Yes she did make different backgrounds to choose from and all the coordinating cuts are made with the New Exclusive Art Philosophy Cricurt cartridge and the stamp set tells you on the carrier sheet what size to cut the shape at.  No guessing or trial an error to get the right size.  That is just so great.

October Display Album Page

Here is the latest page for our Display Album that we made this month in Class.
I had several new ladies in this class and they did a great job.  They were able to catch on to all the different techniques as we went.
My DIL Jennifer came up with this and it is another great page for our Display Album.  She is very talented and we have a lot of fun in my Studio creating new things for fun and for my classes.  She is a very busy Mother of 2 of my Grand kids.  So when she wanted to help me out with this Display Album I was very excited.

My SIL is using hers for birthday reminders.  We added lines so you could put all the names and the date of those in the family who have birthdays that month.  I thought that was a very cleaver use for the Album.  I will post them altogether when we are finished.

This is For September:
Here it is Typeset X7139B, one of our new paper pack with CMTH.  Everything is cut out using the Art Philosophy cartridge. I entered it in the H2H challange too. Since it is back to school here at our house Jenn decided that the Typeset paper would be perfect for September and the start of our new monthly creation using the Display Album Z1054.  Just click on the Shop with Me to get yours.
