White Pines WOTG and using the MISTI

Here is my video showing how I use the MISTI on the WOTG.  I really like how this works when you have more than one of the same card to make.

Some things the MISTI is not suited for but this was perfect for it.  I love things that make life easy don't you?   My friend Tess helped by demonstrating how this was done.  It was a very spur of the moment thing and I think she did a great job.  Tess's Mother-In-Law even had a great time stamping and making all the cards.  Lorraine and Terri were there too.  Everyone was so quite that usually doesn't happen.  We are all laughing and having a great time.   

Zoe Is the Paper pack for September

This month I will be featuring Zoe X7197B.  You can see how beautiful and what great colors Zoe has. I love this paper pack and the color combo.  I have already done a Scrapbook layout and several cards. This is the Zoe Workshop On The Go G1096.  This is a great kit to have I comes with all the papers plus cardstock and the Shimmer Trim and Zoe Assortment too.  

Here is this months Stamp of the Month S1509 Paper Garden and I have been having all kinds of fun with this one.  I used our new Watercolor Paint set too!

Blossom WOTG all done

I love make the Work Shops on the Go Kits.
Here is what it looks like all done and ready to send out.  The Kit makes 5 of each card.  You even have a little bit leftover.

This card uses the the flowers from up above.

Here is the 3rd card, but do you see what I forgot to do. Yep the bow with the Glacier Twine.  I even like it without the bow.

 

When I was done and packing up I liked the way it looked on the Paper Cutter.  So I had to get a picture of that too.  Can you tell I love to take photos.  Sometime I just can't resist.

Seasonal Expression 2 The New Catalog

I am loving the new Seasonal Expressions 2 catalog.  It is 38 pages of goodness!!!

Happy New Year, Frosted Layout

We just closed out 2013 and now into 2014.  Looking back it was a pretty good year for our family.  I hope it was for your family too.
My Granddaughter was in the Nutcracker before Christmas.  She was a Magical Christmas Tree. What a beautiful Christmas Tree she was.  With all the pictures I took at dress rehearsal I thought I better do a Layout for her.  So here it is.

 They had 2 shows and she danced in both.  I was so proud of her.
I used the Frosted Workshop on the Go G1070 and I think it was the perfect one for her Nutcracker.  It matched the background to the theater perfectly.  With the WOTG you get everything you need to complete this layout.  You get the paper pack, Stamp set, embellishments, and complete guide with cutting instructions, placement, and stamping.  The only thing you need to supply is the ink and of course the pictures.

Altered Composition Book

I have so much fun creating Altered Composition Books for friends.  I made this for a friend that has had our whole travel group over to her home many times.  Her and her husband are such a nice couple.  I have enjoyed getting to know them this year.
While we were in Italy I took this picture of Terry on our last night just before we entered the restaurant.  We were standing across the street and we hollered at her and then she did the pose.  I love it when I capture fun spontaneous things.
When I was looking for the paper I would use I just happened to pick up the Claire Workshop on the Go.  On the stamp set one of the stamps said Express yourself.  So I used it and the paper.  It all goes together nicely I think.  I like it when I don't have to think about what goes with what.
Then I went to my goodies drawers and started pulling out things that I had and in no time it was done.  Everything is Close To My Heart except the Ribbon.  I really love it when I use up things from my stash.  But somehow that never seems to really get smaller!  Hummmm.
I think I have said that I love to doodle so the stitching I drew on.

Halloween CTMH Spellbound Cricut WOTG Party Plus

Here is something for Halloween or Birthday Party.  I showed you earlier a video on the Workshops on the Go Spellbound Cricut Kit G1040.  So here is what I made.  What fun it was to make.  I put some of the cards and tags that I made for this month's Card Class and the little Cake Plate is from I made from Happy Hauntings Cricut Cartridge.  Everything else was cut with the Artiste and Art Philosophy from Close To My Heart

The kit looks like this and will make the Banner, Gift Bags, Cupcake Holders, Drink Markers, and Cupcake picks (I forgot to use them in this picture) :(.

Artiste Cricut Cartridge Swing Card and my Gypsy

Here is the just one of the 9 swing cards or S card (since you use the S key on the overlay) on the Artiste Cricut cartridge.  These are great cards and you can get a creative or as simple as you want.  I use the Perfect Fit Frames D1527 stamp set and the Perfect Fit Halloween B1413 cut out using the Art Philosophy cartridge to fit perfectly (pun intended)  LOL!  into the center of the swing piece.

Here is the way I stamped the inside of the card using the Moonlight Scrapbooking Workshop Holidays C1512 from the WOTG Moonlight Kit G1051.  I love this stamp set!!!

 The paper is from the WOTG Moonlight Scrapbooking Kit G1051. 
The Workshop on the Go Kits are a great for beginners or for the advanced paper crafter. You get a complete My Reflections paper pack, a coordinating stamp set and embellishments, and an Instructional Brochure. This Kit is for Scrapbooking but as you can see I used it for a card.

I designed it in my Gypsy so that it would cut out 2 out of one piece of cardstock.  I used the layers so that the Perfect Fit Frame would fit and the I cut out another one larger to fit the outside piece.  I will make a how to video and show you how to do this.  You will be able to do the same thing in the CCR too.

Fall Is In The Air

Well it really feels like fall.  I just love this time of year.  It's not to hot or to cold at least here in California anyways.  So here is a card and a tag made from this months Stamp of the Month Fall Favorites S1202 and the CTMH exclusive Artiste Cricut cartridge...

 I used our new CTMH Burlap Ribbon Z1760 to back the Fall title and I cut the bow from the new Artiste Z1790 Cricut cartridge it is the one on page 55.  I also used some of the bits and pieces left over from another class project.

Workshop on the Go Advent Calendar Kit G1044

Well just thinking of all the up coming holidays is making my head spin.  Today Jenn put together my Advent Calendar Kit G1044.  It comes with everything you see  in these 2 pictures here plus Bitty Sparkles.  Can't forget the sparkles you know.
I love how easy it is to put together you just cut out the boxes with your Artiste Cricut cartridge from CTMH.  It comes with a set of easy to follow instruction on how to do everything you see here.  I forgot to take the picture of everything before so this is what was left.

 

Here is the completed Advent Calendar.  She did use some more sparkles from my stash.  I just love how it turned out.  The tips that Jenn has, would be to plan out the colors before hand so you don't end up with 2 of the same colors together.  But with the outsides all being different it really doesn't matter because they are all a little different.
