My Desk Calendar for 2014

I have been wanting to make an easel card calendar and I knew I had to make one now.  I do a calendar every year but they are usually smaller.  You can see last years calendar here.   So here is my take on it.  I used the Laughing Lola paper X7170B.  I printed a calendar that was on my computer.  The flowers were from the Art Philosophy cartridge Z1686. The stamp set is Horray Bouquet D1491 and you can see what else I have made with this stamp set here
You can change out the photos and the calendar as you like.  The calendar is just one that was on my computer but you can download them off the internet for free if you do a search for them.

I had made a fall wreath that just kept jumping off my wall.  It broke so may times that I could not repair it any more.  So now I use all the flowers and leaves on different projects.  I guess it never wanted to be a wall flower for one.  It wanted to be used and shared with many.  You can read all about my wreath here

The brads, photo clip, and ribbon are from my stash.  I love it when I get to use my stash.

Clearly the Best: Create the Date (S02E11)

Here is a fun Calendar that you can make using the Artbooking cartridge and the Real Dial size.
It also uses the My Creations Flip Stand.  You can order yours Here!

Related Posts Plugin for WordPress, Blogger...I am just loving the Artbooking cartridge.  It is so versatile I never would have guessed you could do as much as you can with it.  Every time I turn around I find something new you can do with it.
So many projects, not so many hours in a day.  What is a crafter to do!  Oh my.
I just can't wait to see the new Idea Book Spring/Summer 2014.  Can you tell I am not very patient.

Getting Ready for the New Year

Related Posts Plugin for WordPress, Blogger...Not that I want to make this year go any faster!  But I just wanted to make a little calendar for next year.
Remember the Butterfly card that I just made, you can see it here.  Well this is made using that little cut out from the center front of the card.  I had a bunch of them leftover and so I started playing around with them and this is what I came up with.
The base for the calendar is a chip board coaster.  If you ask at you local Restaurant they will usually give you a couple.
I covered it with a piece of pattern paper from the Clementine paper pack you can see it here.
I sponged everything with Twilight ink Z2160 except for the 2013.  That I sponged with Sorbet Z2164
The calendar is a free printable online for 2013.
The Ribbon in the Dark Chocolate Striped Grosgrain Ribbon Z1617
You can order everything you need here!

These make great stocking stuffer too!  Who doesn't need a little calendar they can put just about anywhere.

Calendar for the New Year 2012

I love having a hand made calendar for the year.  After seeing what the design team came up with at Close To My Heart I used it as my inspiration for my 2012 calendar.
I am in love with the Juniper and Barn Red colors together.  I also added Sunset ink.  I did use binder rings instead of the bling pins.  I also needed to have the numbers and months attached or I would never see them again. LOL!
So here is what I came up with.
Using the 12x12 does make a big calendar. But over all I like it.

Cardstock is Juniper
Ink:  Sunset, Chocolate, and Barn Red
Scallop square is cut from the Art Philosophy at 3"
The squares are 2 1/2, 25 of them all together out of colonial white
Stamp Sets used are:
Bohemian Alphabet, Happy Journey, Rock the Block, Today's Date
I used my Big Bite to punch the holes.

You'll have to let me know what you think.
