Well I can't believe that Thanksgiving is next week. This month our group met at Jeannine's house. She always makes us a little something extra and this time was no exception.
Here is the treat box that held 4 Hersey's Treasures. Yep mine are gone! Aw you know you would have eaten them too!!! They were delicious.
The box is cut from Art Philosophy page 22, the tag is on page 64, the leaf is from page 78
We always do a make-n-take that the hostess will do and Jeannine had us make Gift Card Holders.
The first one I made using a paper that had a horse one it. Well you know me and my horses! The card is cut using a Sizzix scallop square die. You place 2 sheets together and cut them with the die at the same time. Then you cut it all the way the 2 and tape the sides together leaving the on scallop un taped so it can overlap the bottom piece when you close it. Use a piercing tool to make a hole and a brad to work like a hinge. The 3-D bow is cut from the
Z1790 Artiste Cricut cartridge and so is the flower.
The second on uses the same Sizzix die you just don't cut through the one side. The card is cut and then scored and then you run it through the Sizzix machine. You can also use the
Z1790 Artiste Cricut cartridge it has 2 gift card holders
Tamara used Memory Box Die and a Sizzix embossing folder to make this cute christmas tree card.
This is what it looks on the inside how cut is that.
Next was Laurie's card which is a tea bag fold card.
Erin made a faux tri fold card. I love the colors it uses the stamp set
D1550 Happy Autumn
Here is the inside and what makes if a faux tri fold. The paper is CTMH too!
Debb used a border punch and then stamped and cut out the fall leaves from CTMH.
On the in side it is stamped with a retired CTMH stamp set and punched with a scallop oval punch
The inside is stamped with Close to my heart retired C1495 Just chillin and
Stamp of life.
Lani made a easel card using Spellbinders.
Here is is from the side so you can see how it sits.
Here it is opened up and stamped with CTMH
C1506 Flakey Friends. What a fun card to make and get.
Donna made a 60/40 card. She use a random stamp technique for the front and a strip on the inside.
You never have to worry whether you have a coordinating paper or not because you can make it just the way you want it.
You can see the strip on the inside as well as the 60/40 opening. I love the colors she choose.
