June Kard Club Swap 2018

Has it already been a month since our last Kard Club Swap?  Wow, time really does fly.
Last night we all met at Laurie's house.  It was Lynn's turn to host and because she lives farther away Laurie offered her home so we didn't have to drive so far.  Thanks Laurie for that!
We always have a great time getting together and chatting with each other.  Fun group of ladies.

Lets get started!  First up is Debb, she was not there but took her cards to Laurie's early so we would have them.  She used a wood grain embossing folder, first she inked the embossing folder then cut the fence shapes out of that and then added the nail heads with a marker.  She used a die cut for the grass.

Next we have Kathy's.  She used a playing card and rounded the opposite corners.  She used papers from her stash, embossed the Celebrate and added some pretty gems.

This is Donna's and she used the Stampin Up Star Punch.  The hello is a die cut.

Laurie used an Art Impressions die to make this cut card and every part of the knife moves and is stamped with a cute saying.  You will be able to see this better in my video.

Then we have Lynn's she used Ann Griffith paper, a star punch and the stamp is from
Taylor expressions.

Erin use her Paper Pumpkin kit to make this one.  We even got a cute envelope to go with it.

Cathy made this one and she splattered the star, the circle was a Sizzix die, the rock was a Cricut cut, the Wolf was a Spellbinders die, the Trees are Cottage Cutz.

Jeannine Use her Distinctive Impressions stamp for this one.

These are mine and I always make extra just in case.  I used the Free Printables from The Navage Patch.  I also used the G45 Regular Tag &m Gears Metal Dies.

Lynn also had a make and take for us to do.  So here is the Pin Wheel that we made.

So that is it for this Month, we don't meet in July (to much going on).  The Aug one is at my house and our theme is Travel.  That should be a fun one.  Who doesn't love Travel

Here is my Video of all the cards and the insides too.

Father's Day Card

Making Father's Day cards is always a bit challenging don't you think?  But the other day my friend Tess called and needed to make a couple.  This is what we came up with.  I have used this stamp before and I really like it.  I picked out some paper and she liked the bees so we went with that.  The bees and the stamp set and the ribbon are all discontinued now and have been for awhile.  Sorry about that but using up my stash is a very good thing.

On the inside is the M1134 Happy Father's Day and that is a stamp that you can still get. These single stamps are just $2.95 plus tax and shipping.
You can see the other Father's Day Cards Here

A Father's Day Card

Related Posts Plugin for WordPress, Blogger...Getting ready for Father's Day!  Here is a card that I made for one of my card swaps.  I used the Later Sk8r X7167B.  I first created this card in the CCR (Cricut Craft Room).  Everything was cut on the cricut even the card base.
I first put everything on on layer to make the placement and the sizes that I wanted.  Then I just placed them each on a layer of there own.  The card swap that I am in for this one has 10 people so that way I can just cut 10 of each thing.  I find this the easiest way to do it.  When I am traveling and do not have Internet I will create it on my Gypsy.
This takes all the guess work out of the sizes that I need and I can make a layout of the card at the same time.  It is a big time saver for sure.
Here is what I used

Cards Stock is:
     Outdoor Denim
     Whisper
     Sweet Leaf
     Chrystal Blue
     Daisy White

Cricut Cartridges:
     Artiste Z1790
     Art Philosophy Z1686
     Mustache and Glasses

Inks:
     Outdoor Denim

Flashback Friday Challange

I am using this post for the Flashback Friday Challenge 24.0.  This is still one of my favorite Stamp Sets
Here is my re post of the first masculine card that I posted on my blog. I made this for my husband on Father's day 2011.  The tile was a gift from 2009 using the same stamp.
Here is a link to the home page for Flashback Friday Challenge.

You can see my post for Father's Day here.  It has all the details so check it out and let me know what you think.  It is so funny to look at things you made a long time ago.  But I still like this one.
Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Father's Day

Here are 2 more Father's Day Cards plus a tile coaster that I stamped on the tile with staz-on and wrapped with a ribbon. The Coaster I made a couple of years ago but my husband still uses it. After seeing a card made by Aaron Booth and a download of the stamps that she had listed, this is what I came up with.
Supplies use were all CMTH
Moonstruck, Colonial White, and Autumn Terracotta cardstock
Lucky Level 2 paper pack
Chocolate ink
Black Staz-on

Passage Level 2 paper pack

Father's Day or a Manly Card

This card would be a great one for Father's Day or just a manly card for a Birthday.  It is very versatile and one to have on hand just in case.  We made these a our team meeting. It is fast and easy to put together the products are all CTMH.  I used a sanding technique on the Outdoor Denim mat.  The sanding kit come with an Emery Board, 3-sheets of sandpaper and a 4-sided sanding block.  I used the Emery Board and sanded all around the edges of the mat.  I love the way this looks you can even use it on the paper too.  It gives it a very rustic look.
CMTH products used are:
Colonial White, Outdoor Denim Cardstock
Lucky Paper Pack
Inks used are Desert Sand, Sunset, and Outdoor Denim
Sanding Kit
Natural Hemp
Black Pearls
Enjoy Life Stamp Set
Glue Dots
