Valentine Mailbox 2

Here is another one that I missed getting published on my blog.  Oh well better late than never
These Mailboxes are so cute and the best part is it holds a box for goodies inside.  I just did them the way the Cricut has them but I have some cute ideas for some decorations. I better get busy because Valentines is just a couple of days away.  I just thought I would show them to you just in case you were look for something just like this.  I cut them from Valentines 3D Mailbox cartridge.  I must say it took be awhile to figure out how to put it together.  If you are having trouble just search it on youtube.

I used La Vie En Rose paper pack.  It is the flower one.  The middle box is more manly and is called Urban.  The end one is using a plain cardstock Cotton Candy.  I made several 3x3 cards from the  Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge to go in them.

Seasonal Expression 2 The New Catalog

I am loving the new Seasonal Expressions 2 catalog.  It is 38 pages of goodness!!!

I love the Blossom Cardmaking Kit.  What fun would that be to give as a gift or to get one of them. You get everything  you need to complete 15 cards with envelopes.  The only thing you will need is your inks.  They have such a fun festive and summery feel to them.

The Blossom Paper pack is great for making scrapbook pages too.  You can even add the Blossom Complements and Assortments too.

Artfully Sent meets Frozen

Well today when Helen came over she said she had a Great Grand daughter Kaydence that was turning 6 on Sunday.  Happy Birthday Kaydence!  So I ask my usual questions.  What is her favorite thing.  Answer: Frozen.  So that is where we started.
Anna is her favorite.  Helen wanted to make her a pop-card so we used Artfully Sent and found one that work.  We used the Love Bug card.  I just ungrouped it and deleted everything but the card base and inside with the cut makes.
I used the Cut then Print for the Anna and we also cut out some snowflakes from Frozen too for the inside.

For the front we used the Happy Birthday sentiment from page 36 of the Artfully Sent handbook #M10678E for the Explore. We cut it down so there is a border around it. The 6th is from an image search cut out in carnary along with the cupcake frosting and candle flame.

Artfully Sent Easter Card #3

This is the Pop Up card from page 41 it code #M1067BD for the Explore.  I used the Pocket card from page 17 for the front code #MCBA4F.  I backed it with a scrap I had and placed Pink Glitter Gems in the center of the flowers.  The stamp set is Happy Everything and also Hopping By for the Easter.

The pop up is a bunny that I cut out in what else but Chocolate.  The bow is cut out in Canary and I stamped the egg that they could color in too!

Artfully Sent Easter Card

This card is cut from page 41 in Artfully Sent.  It is the sleeve card #M1011EF for the explore.  I cuts out the shapes so you can back it with what ever paper you want you could even use our shimmer tape or Washi Tape too!

I used scraps that I had from our new Blossom Paper pack

 I stamped it with D1633 Hopping By.  What a cute stamp set this is.  I used Canary and Pixie Cardstock.  I placed a rectangle of Honey Cardstock to back the egg so you wouldn't see all the strips of paper I used.

I love the cards on Artfully Sent they are so fun to make and to receive too.

Artfully Sent for Easter

I was getting some cards ready for the Grand kids and I started pulling up the Easter cards in the Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge.  There are quite a few so I started with this one on page 41 it is the Happy Easter Sentiment card code #M100C45 if you have an Explore.  I also cut the Decorative piece from page 54 of Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge to go on the inside to cover up the opening.  I colored the Happy Easter with our ShinHan twin touch makers.  Then I added the tic marks around the edge with our Le Pen and added some Ribbon and bling.

I use the Hopping By D1633 stamp set because all my grand kids love to color so this stamp set is perfect for them. They can color it all in and I am sure they will.  You can see it on page 25 of the Seasonal Expressions Catalog.  This catalog is only available until March 31,2015.  So if you see something you want you will need to order it before then.  But not to worry we have another Seasonal Expressions 2 starting April 1st, 2015.  Of course our Annual Inspiration catalog is still good until Aug 31, 2015.

Artfully Sent Christmas Cards

I can't believe how much I love the Z3017 Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge.  You can do so much with what is on it.  Need a simple card?  Got it!  Need a fancy card? Got it!  Need a Gift card holder? Got it!  I have not found an occasion that it does not have.  This one is a must have for your card making arsenal.  You won't be sorry.

I made some Christmas cards for this month and as you will see you find something that you love. First on is the simple one.  This is the a swing card from page 47 Scene Reg and Shift.  If you have the Explore you can search #131AFD.  You can save the snowflake and the Deer for another project.  These come in very handy.  The stamp set that I used is B1468 Merriest Christmas.  This is a very useful stamp set and it has several saying that would work.  The Cardstock is Glacier and White Daisy.  The inks I used were Pacifica, Cranberry, Daisy White.

 I stamped snow flakes on the front in Daisy White ink but it does not show up very well in the picture.

 How simple is that!  You can certainly add bling to the falling snow and  Ribbon around the Deer's neck or Washi tape above the Cranberry scallop border!  But I just wanted to show you that it is very cute simple and plain too.

Here is the inside of the Pop up Christmas Tree.  It is on page 48 pop-up Reg and Shift.  For the Explore it is #M1067EF.  I used Cranberry, Olive, and Daisy White Cardstock.

 On the front I sponged it with Cranberry ink.  Gold Polka Dot Washi tape, Black Stripe ribbon, and a left over strip from My Crush Holiday Assortment cards.   This is another very simple one because the card is already cute by itself.  You can also add some bling to the front as well if you want.

This Merry Christmas card is the sentiment card on page 48 #M100C6B.  I hid the contour of the Merry and the little hat at the top and used the X7187B Yuletide Carol Paper Pack.  I used Z3007 Yuletide Carol Assorment decorate with.  I also use the Black Twill ribbon.  I use the VersaMark stamp pad over the word Christmas and embossed it with Ranger Silver supper fine silver embossing power

Fall Wedding Card from Artfully Sent and Anna Griffin

Here is a Wedding card that my friend Helen need for you Granddaughter's wedding.  Her colors were fall colors.  She loved the pop-up wedding cake so we started with that.  We used the Pathfinding paper pack.  After cutting out the inside from page 33 from the Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge.  It is the pop-up using the C key plus the shift key or if you have the Explore you can type in #M10675B in the image search and it will bring the entire card up for you.

To make the cake white I cut the insert again out of Daisy White cardstock and the ran it through my sizzix with our Quaterfoil embossing folder  Then I cut all the cake decorations out of Barn Red and Canary.  I used pearl strands that I have in my stash for the bottom of each tier of the cake and the center of the flowers.  Helen found a stamp with the sentiment she wanted.  She sponged around everything with Autumn Terracotta.

For the front of the card I found another card that I liked this one is from Anna Griffin Soiree collection.  I had to cut the whole card out and then cut off a rectangle so the sides would match.  I cut it out using our Glitter Paper Brown.  I cut out the Mr. & Mrs. first in the lighter shade of the brown glitter paper and the & in silver.  The name is cut in the lighter brown glitter paper too and the ribbon background is honey.

                                     

This was another fun card to come up with for Helen.  We also made an envelope to match and of course I forgot to take a picture of that!

Artfully Sent Bridal Shower Card page 32

Here is another Artfully Sent card. It is the Bridal Shower card from page 32.  It is for a fall wedding in fall colors.  I just love the way it turned out. I hope the Bride to be liked it too!
This cartridge is so full of great cards it is hard to pick one some times but this one was easy.  The overlay pocket card is from page 37.  It is backed with a different colored card stock. The leaves were the cut outs colored with leaf green and put back in place. I put some Ribbon from my stash around the stems.  It still needed a little something don't you think?

For the inside it was just a matter of cutting and pasting and folding.  The only thing different is that I cut the umbrella in 2 different colors and hid all the holes on the bottom one.  So simple but beautiful.

Back to the front.  I could not leave alone so I added Congratulations.  I did a search in the Design Space and found it. Sorry but I don't remember where I found it.  It was straight but we liked it better with the curve and it was very easy to shape it that way.

Artfully Sent Fall Card Multipul Pages

Well It was only a matter of time before I had to make it my own.  This card uses several different cuts from several different cards on the Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge.
I love the birch tree looking card.  It is on page 5 > sleeve.  The Bunny and the Deer are from page 12 > Icon, I copy and pasted it so I would have 2. The Bird and the Mat are from page 47 > Icon.  I wrote Welcome Fall with my Explore and colored in with our ShinHan touch Twin markers in the fall colors.  I sponged the mat with Pacifica ink. I drew the eye, wing, and tail feathers on the bird in black

I placed a Pacifica piece of cardstock on the inside for the background.  I cut 2 of the Deer and Bunny one in Daisy White and one in Champagne I colored the eyes and ears on the Daisy White one and then layered it under the Champagne this way the white dots and the pink ears would show up better. I used Peacock Green, Vivid Green, Sap Green to color in the grass under them.

October Card Swap Happy Halloween

Its been awhile since I have posted my Card Swap card from the group.  We met at my SIL Debb's this month.  Debb keeps all her cards and uses them as decorations all around her house.  What a great idea! So here we go.

Here is Debb's Card she use the Stamps by Judith Ghost Tree with pumpkins and bats.

This is the inside of her card it uses the Cricut cartridge Celebrate with Flourish

Here is Jeannine's she used a Digital stamp by WeeStamps called Hazel.  She colored them in with markers and then added some gems.

On the inside of Jeannine's card she used the Eek & Shriek stamp set.

This one is Kathy's this is a swing card that she made into Frankenstein.  The card is cut from the Tri Fold Sizzix die.  The eyes and nose are circles cut at 2.25', 1.25', .75' from the  Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge.  She drew the scar and the mouth on.

Here it is open. This would be a fun one to get for sure. And that hair it just makes it. The Boo is cut at 6" from the Art Booking cartridge

Here is the one that Tamara made by inking the embossing folder then running it through the Big Shot.

Our newest member is Donna and this was her first time with us in our swap.  She used the web embossing folder too and stickers, the spiders have black gems on their bodies.  Welcome Donna!

This one is Lani's and it is a cute one.  It has a spooky feeling!

On the inside you will find the Gaveyard at the bewitching hour.  It is a die cut from Spellbinders

Erin made us all a sweet treat to go along with her Grafic45 card. This one really makes you smile.

This is the card that I made from the Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge.  It is one of the Scene Cards.  I cut the backgrounds in different colors.  The bats in the moon are colored with our Black ShinHan markers.

On the inside I stamped a spooky Tree and Boo at the top.  The ghost is from Frightfully Fun stamped, cut and colored with Warm Grey 4 marker.

Here is our make and take, isn't he cute.  Wait till you see what he is hiding!

Yummmmm!!!

It was a fun evening with all the ladies.  Debb made a pumpkin loaf and it was good.  It's always fun to have a night out with the girls.
