Irresistibles!

Watch what you can do with the Irresistables Frames Z1843.  Because the embossed pattern resists ink you can use the frames with the My Creations Cubby Z1804 to create many different kinds of countdowns, and lots of other kinds of projects or cards too.

Cow, Pig, Chicken, Perfect Fit- Birthday B1417

Related Posts Plugin for WordPress, Blogger...I live on a Ranch so sometimes I just love to use animals on my cards.  I used a Cow, a Pig, and a Chicken.  I colored them in with our new alcohol based markers from CTMH.  I love how they blend in and cover.  At our swap this month the theme was juvenile.  I had so much fun making this card.
I again used the CCR to create this card.  I type in what I wanted to cut out like Sun into the search engine and it comes up with all the sun's from all the cartridges and then I just choose the one I liked and it was one that I had.  I did the same for all the animals then I just sized them to fit and layed each on on a different layer.  I put in the quanity on the right hand side and then just cut them out and put them together.  I took about 4 hours to design, cut, and put together all 12 cards.

The stamp set is Perfect Fit-Birthday B1417

A Father's Day Card

Related Posts Plugin for WordPress, Blogger...Getting ready for Father's Day!  Here is a card that I made for one of my card swaps.  I used the Later Sk8r X7167B.  I first created this card in the CCR (Cricut Craft Room).  Everything was cut on the cricut even the card base.
I first put everything on on layer to make the placement and the sizes that I wanted.  Then I just placed them each on a layer of there own.  The card swap that I am in for this one has 10 people so that way I can just cut 10 of each thing.  I find this the easiest way to do it.  When I am traveling and do not have Internet I will create it on my Gypsy.
This takes all the guess work out of the sizes that I need and I can make a layout of the card at the same time.  It is a big time saver for sure.
Here is what I used

Cards Stock is:
     Outdoor Denim
     Whisper
     Sweet Leaf
     Chrystal Blue
     Daisy White

Cricut Cartridges:
     Artiste Z1790
     Art Philosophy Z1686
     Mustache and Glasses

Inks:
     Outdoor Denim

Mother and Daughter Crafting Day

Related Posts Plugin for WordPress, Blogger...This is Adrienne and Caitlin, they are a Mother and Daughter that live about an 1 1/2 hours apart.  I feel very honored when they choose to spend the day crafting at my place.  We have a great time creating projects and chatting a lot.  On this day Caitlin wanted to create a Wedding card for a friend that was getting married soon.  She herself is a newlywed so she wanted it to be a special card.
Here she is with her Mom the Giraffe and the card that she made.
It is so nice when you find something special that you can do with your daughter and it gives you a time together.  So be sure that you make the time to do something special with someone that you love.

Pinwheel and Dream Pop

This is a card that I made with the  May Stamp of the Month Pinwheel S1305.  It made with the  Dream Pop paper pack too.  I have a 4th of July card coming from this too with the Pinwheel done from red and blue.  I will post that one soon. I colored the edges of the Pinwheel with our new exclusive inks markers that are alcohol based I used Pear Z2414 and Cotton Candy Z2417.  Once you try these new markers you will never go back.  I added some Sparkles and some Bakers Twine
My inspiration for this card came from the Dream Pop instructions guide.
The Pinwheel is cut out from the Artiste cartridge page 50 Accent 1.  The center is one of the button cuts from the Artiste page 42 Accent 2.
The Celebrate cut was from page 65 Accent 3
Sparkles Z1752
Bakers Twine;  Neutral Assortment Z1701
