October Kard Swap Club

Well it has been a very long time since I have shared our Kard Swap Cards.  I love Halloween and the Fall season colors.  I love it when there is a little moisture in the air and you just want to snuggle up with a good book under a blanket.  Most of us don't get to really do that but it does sound good anyway.  We're more likely to have a bowl of soup for dinner.  Ha! Ha!.  You know what I mean.
Oops I am getting sidetracked from my group.  Last night we met over at Cathy's house.  She is an Artist, she paint beautifully and does all kinds of crafts.  She has things all around her home that she has made and painted.
Our project was to stamp with Staz-On on a domino then color it in with markers.  I still need to put the ribbon on mine so I can take a picture of it for you to see.

Here are all the cards together on my hutch.  You can see more on my hutch here
You can see more banners here
The cards make great Halloween Decorations don't you think?

This is Erin's card.  It is one of a One Sheet Wonder set that she got off Pinterest.

This is Kathy's card.  Inside it say's Wish you a Happy Halloween!

This is Jeannie's card inside is like a card within a card.  So cute.  love the googly eyes.

This is Laurie's card.  Love the potion bottles.

This is mine.  The cat is fussy cut out and popped up.

This is Lani's card.  Lots of die cuts stacked on top of each other.

This is Debb's card.  I have to say this is my favorite one.  I love the face it is one stamp.  She embossed it and then added chalk around the eyes and lip.  Then used hair spray to keep the color on. Did I mention this is my favorite one.

We set our calendar for next year so you will be seeing these for awhile longer.  Keep checking back for more.  Thanks for stopping by.

October Card Swap

Related Posts Plugin for WordPress, Blogger...October is a fun month for our card swap because we always do a fun Halloween card.  So here is what I did.

I used the Artfully Sent cartridge to cut the Birch Trees with and then I used Art Philosophy to cut the background for the Happy Halloween.  I did a search for the bats and the crow but I think they were from Happy Haunting.
The Happy Halloween is from the stamp set Steampunk Scoundrels B1503.
I actually cut everything out of Daisy White cardstock.  I then sponged the colors I wanted I also used my ShinHan Alcohol markers to get the look I wanted.  I used Wink Of Stella Clear over the moon to get some sparkle.  I didn't get a chance to take pictures of the other cards this month because I gave them all out already to the Ladies at my luncheon that was the next day.  OOPS!!!

Thanks for stopping by.

Here is Debb's Card she use the Stamps by Judith Ghost Tree with pumpkins and bats.

This is the inside of her card it uses the Cricut cartridge Celebrate with Flourish
Here is Jeannine's she used a Digital stamp by WeeStamps called Hazel.  She colored them in with markers and then added some gems.

On the inside of Jeannine's card she used the Eek & Shriek stamp set.

This one is Kathy's this is a swing card that she made into Frankenstein.  The card is cut from the Tri Fold Sizzix die.  The eyes and nose are circles cut at 2.25', 1.25', .75' from the  Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge.  She drew the scar and the mouth on.

Here it is open. This would be a fun one to get for sure. And that hair it just makes it. The Boo is cut at 6" from the Art Booking cartridge

Here is the one that Tamara made by inking the embossing folder then running it through the Big Shot.

Our newest member is Donna and this was her first time with us in our swap.  She used the web embossing folder too and stickers, the spiders have black gems on their bodies.  Welcome Donna!

This one is Lani's and it is a cute one.  It has a spooky feeling!

On the inside you will find the Gaveyard at the bewitching hour.  It is a die cut from Spellbinders

Erin made us all a sweet treat to go along with her Grafic45 card. This one really makes you smile.

This is the card that I made from the Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge.  It is one of the Scene Cards.  I cut the backgrounds in different colors.  The bats in the moon are colored with our Black ShinHan markers.

On the inside I stamped a spooky Tree and Boo at the top.  The ghost is from Frightfully Fun stamped, cut and colored with Warm Grey 4 marker.

Here is our make and take, isn't he cute.  Wait till you see what he is hiding!

Yummmmm!!!

Artfully Sent Halloween Card Page 43

Related Posts Plugin for WordPress, Blogger...Today I made the Web card from page 43 in the Artfully Sent handbook.  I loved the web and wanted to do it with our Glitter Paper.  The card is cut from the Sliver sheet in the Z1829 Black and Grey Glitter pack.  They cut so nice on the Cricut Explore I used the heavy cardstock setting and it work perfect.  I cut the spider from the Black sheet and the flower that I used for the spiders body was from Z1686 Art Philosophy.  I also used The Z1790 Artiste for the sentiment from page 77.  I love using the A1795 Quilling Tool for rolling the flowers.  It is so much easier to use and I haven't ripped one in half since I bought it.

Here is a side view I used 3-D Foam tape to pop up the sentiment and I cut another web from the Artfully Sent one of the Icons from page 43 too.  The ink I used was Black and Thistle.
This was a very fast and fun card to make.  I can't believe how easy it is to make them with the Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge. If you haven't gotten yours yet you can order it HERE!

Keep checking back I have more Artfully Sent cards to come.
Thank You for stopping by!

Artfully Sent Candy Corn Kisses

Related Posts Plugin for WordPress, Blogger...Here is another fast and fun card from the Z3017 Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge.  This one is from page 44 it is one of Sentiment cards.  I could not resist using the ShinHan Touch Twin markers on this one.  I used the Marigold and Golden Yellow on a piece of Daisy White cardstock that I put on the inside of the card.  The minute I took this card off the mat it screamed the Z1988 Black Striped Twill Ribbon on one side or the other.  The bats were from another project and just laying on my table so I stuck them one and it made me smile.  I also stuck on one the inside too!

Artfully Sent The First Cut

Related Posts Plugin for WordPress, Blogger...Related Posts Plugin for WordPress, Blogger...I can't believe it, my Z3017 Artfully Sent cartridge came today so now it's time to play.  One of my customers was here so we made a Halloween card for her grandson.
I have a Cricut Explore so I was able to uplink my cartridge and play with it in the Cricut Design Center.  Helen liked the card on page 43 so we loaded up some Sunset cardstock for the base and Canary for the Pop-up. We used White Daisy for the spider web and Black for the spider.
The nice part about the Explore is that when you pick a card it will being all the parts with it so you only have to size it once and everything will fit.  I sized the card at 5.5 wide and that was all I had to do.
Here is the front.  We stamped it with D1605 Halloween Greetings, X7581B The Scardy Cat Paper pack, and the X7581C Scardy Cat Complements.

How cute and simple is this. I love how the pop-ups work.  Everything is from one key

The assembly book shows you how to put it together and where to put the glue.  Easy!

It really pops it up and makes it come alive!  I love how everything cuts at the right size no guessing.

You can order you Artfully Sent cartridge HERE!  You will qualify for the SOTM  for $5.00 and also the #30yearsofhappy stamp for FREE
