Teacher Appreciation Week

Well this month has certainly gotten away from me.  Here are some of the items that we made for the teachers.  This was a box to hold all the cards and little mementos that they were given.  It is made from a CTMH My Creations Memories Box and decorated with the Typeset paper pack X7139B and Typeset Complements Canvas Shapes X7139c.  This set is perfect for anything to do with school. You can see a Scrapbook Layout and several other things that I made using the Typeset Paper Pack here.  The shapes were cut out using the Cricut/CTMH Art Philosophy cartridge.
The drink holder was from a fast food place. This was for Mrs Davis and it matches her VIP book that we gave to her on her Birthday  you can see it here.
The Thanks a-Latte card is made using my Cricut Imagine and the Imagine More Cards cartridge.

Mrs. Osterkamp's was done with the Sonoma Paper Pack x7143b, Evergreen Cork Shapes Z1719 and Bohemian Alphabet E1019.  Here is her VIP book

Unfortunately I did not get a picture of her Memories Box oops.
I still have lots more things to post from Teacher Appreciation Week.  So be sure to check back to see it all.

May's Card Swap

This month was a feminine card.  Lani was our Hostess this month.  They were all so different.  I think that Laurie won for the most elaborate.  It by far took the most work.  WOW!
You can't tell from this view but it is a shadow box card.  I can't believe all the work that went into it.
So now for the rest of the cards.
Top Row:  Debbie, Erin, Jeannine
Middle Row:  Jody, Judy, Gayle
Bottom Row:  Lani, Kathy, Mine

Lani did our demonstration on making a Delft Tile card.  I love how it looks, the picture does not do it justice.  Sorry Lani.

It is made by scoring the paper then stamping your image.  Next you sponge over the card lightly.  Then you apply versamark all over the paper and emboss it with clear embossing powder.  It looks like a real tile its very shinny.   So easy and very pretty.
Thanks for stopping by.
Let the ladies know what you think of the cards they made.  We love the feedback.

Teacher Appreciation Week

We have a lot to share this week.  It is the start of Teacher Appreciation Week at my Grand kids School.  My DIL is the room Mom for my Grandson's Class.  Mrs. Davis and Mrs. Ostercamp are the teachers and so this week is all about them.  First we made this ruler wreath to hang on the outside of their door.  Close To My Heart has the perfect paper pack called Typeset you can see it here.  As you can see it goes great with anything to do with school.
The wooden rulers were cut in half.  The School House, Apple, Star, and the Room 1 were cut with the Cricut.  The pencils were from our stash.  The chalk board was from Michael's.  All the ribbon is Close To My Heart.  The canvas stickers and buttons are also Close To My Heart.

Cricut Cartridges used were:
Plantin Schoolbook
Happily Ever After
Close To My Heart's exclusive Art Philosophy

We hope they enjoy it!

Keep checking back we have lots to share with you.

Card Swap April - Black and White

This month was Black and White cards.  It was fun but a challenge.  I was in aw with what the ladies came up with.  Laurie was our host and she set a beautiful table complete with black and white place mats that she made from poster board and punches.  Laurie also made clear plastic baskets filled with kisses and decorated with a flower and an Easter chick. Sorry that I didn't take a picture of these.

top:  Jeannine, Jody
middle: Laurie, Lani, Erin, Kathy
front: Gayle, Debbie, Judy

Ok I forgot to keep one of mine so yes it is missing.  Erin's is hard to see but it looks like an Oreo cookie and is so cute.  They all are beautiful cards, what a great bunch of women.  Everyone is so creative.  Next month is a feminine card so guess I better start working on that one.
Thanks for stoping by.
Be sure to leave the ladies some love.  Let them know what you think of their cards.
