How To Make the Layer for the Swing Card

Here is the Part 2 to the Swing Card that I made awhile back.  I had a couple of you ask me how I made the mat layer for the card.  So this is it.  It is really pretty easy to do, but it is hard to explain.  If you just play around with the layers you will see what I am talking about.  Let me know if you would like to see anything else.

This is what I did with the pieces that were left. I was able to use them for a mat behind the stamped pieces that I had left over from this video.



Love Your Layout: February 2013

Here is another Studio J layout using the Later Sk8r Kit.  You will find lots of tips and tricks for creating a gnarly layout.  Take a look and see what you think.  Or you can get started here.
If you have not tried to even taken a look at Studio J you don't know what you are missing.  It is very fun and easy to make you layouts.  You can even do them while you are on vacation.  Make it a family affair and have everybody input while it is happening. 
You won't be sorry you gave it a try!

This was made using some of our new Chantilly Textiles Z1819 for the bow and the hanger.  The clothespins are also a new item for us and they come in 2 ways.  One in a set of 12 Mini's Z1815 or they come as a Mini Medley Collection which had 3 mini etched clothespins with Sweet, Love, Fun etched into the clothes pins (you will flip when you see them).
Last but not least by any means is our exclusive Cricut Cartridges Artiste Z1790 and
Art Philosophy Z1386 to make all the great Banner Shapes, Flowers, Leaves and lots more.  The sky is the limit when you have these 2 in you collection.  I don't know what I would do without mine that's for sure.
