Cricut Academy 3 Day Crop In Dixon, California

I teach Cricut Classes at It's All About the Scrapbook in Dixon, California.  If you would like to learn how to use your Cricut this is a full emersion Class.  It is 3 days of everything Cricut.  We start with get your Cricut out of the Box and we go from there.  Friday we do class from 10am to 12pm then 2pm to 4pm you get free time to practice what you have learned from 6 on.

This Crop has something for everyone.  We will cover Your machine and how to use it.  We will cover the Cricut Design Space both on PC and IOS.  I have 2 projectors, one will always show IOS and another projector that shows the PC. We will cover Images, Text, Upload.  We will cover Cutting with your machine and how to make designs too.  We will cover Vinyl, Infusible Inks, and Iron-Ons,  along with the Cricut Mug Press

We really do cover it all.  I have been teaching at It's All About The Scrapbook since 2016.  I love all things Cricut.

I have been working on Collage Canvases

I can't believe is has been this long since my last post!  I will do better in the future!

I have been having fun working with canvases and using up scraps from my Junk Journals.  I love to collage I find it very therapeutic. Selecting the papers or scraps, tearing the papers, and then gluing them down.  It is very satisfying as it comes together.  The best part is, if you don't like it you just tear up another piece and glue it over until you like it.  Very Simple!  LOL

This is how I usually begin by picking out papers and the ripping them up and see how and where they fit in.  These are all digitals that I printed up for a Journal that I was making.  You can use anything that you like.

Here are 3 of the canvases that I made.  Not sure if I will stencil over them or add vinyl wording on top.  These are so fun to make.  Let me know in the comments if you have made them or if you would like to make them.

My Colors Have Changed

Well my colors have definitely changed.  I have really noticed how my sight (or lack of) has really changed the way I see and presheaves color.  I am using much darker and muted colors now.  It will be interesting to see how this progresses until I get my Cataracts done.  Here is what I ended up with Yesterday after playing in my art journal.  I will be showing this in my go live over on my FB page this morning at 11:45am pst. Sneak Peek Of My May DT Project for Studio28E

I knew it had been awhile but not that long!  So what is new with you?  We have continued to shelter in place.  I just got my second Moderna shot and it kick me sideways for 24 hours and then it was all better.  Small price to pay (I hope)

So on my to my Crafting.  I found out that I need to have Cataract Surgery on both my eyes and I have go the ball rolling for that. I am unable to see my projects and that is making for some interesting creativity to say the least.  LOL!  It will be fun to look back and see what I really did, and what it really looks like.  

I have been working hard on my May DT Project for Studio28E  I choose The Beauty of Nature  I also used the Ephemera Kit 2 I really like them both.
