My Favorite CTMH Color This Month Is Sea Glass

I have a thing for Sea Glass.  I just love the look of it.  Last summer we went to Sea Glass Beach in Fort Brag California.  We spent hours going through all the different colors of the Sea Glass.

Belvedere Palace

The Belvedere Palace is a beautiful Palace.  It houses the Gustav Klimt 1907 Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer I or the Lady in Gold or Woman in Gold.  Also the Kiss is housed at the Belvedere too.  This photo was on the wall above our bed in our Hotel Am Konzerthaus in Vienna.  We could walk to the Lower Belevedere by the stables and then walk through the gardens from our hotel in about 10 to 15 minutes. The Palace itself is 350 years old. 

When you are in Venna or Wien where do you like to go or stay?

When I saw this painting I thought, oh my friends would love to make something like this. It looks a lot like Mixed Media that we are doing.  Well not on this scale or out of gold either.  But it is very inspirational none the less. This is one I did a while ago.  Okay so not even close but you know what I mean by inspirational.  I love making things that make me smile.  I have to laugh that I am even putting something I did even near to something and famous Artist had done.

The Upper Palace or Summer Palace is Beautiful with flower and fountains out in front.  Don't worry I won't show you something I made with this one.  Just enjoy the beauty.  It was a warm sunny day and the clouds arranged themselves perfectly don't you think.

Walking tour of Venna

I love all the architecture in Europe.  You will find something that is 2,000 years old right next to something that is not as old. It seems like they really took into consideration all their surroundings.  I can't help but take pictures because every time you turn around there is something beautiful.

 We walked as a group with a guide around and she told us all about the buildings and what they were and what they are use for now.  We were walking down this walkway and I looked out this arch and this is what I saw.  I almost cause a traffic jam because I will have to stop and take a photo.  Then hurry and catch up with all the others.  Luckily I have traveled with most of them before so they know how I am with my photos.  I can't wait scrapbook this one.  I must say I did not take as many as I usually do.

Here in Vienna

Well I am a little of track on my Blog but I thought you might like to see and hear about my Trip to Vienna.  This is just part of our group.  We are all getting to know each other.  Several of us have traveled together before to France in 2011 and Italy 2013.  They are a great group to travel with.

It was an 11 hour flight to Frankfurt Germany and the 1 1/2 hour flight to Vienna but we made it.

Valentine Mailbox 2

Here is another one that I missed getting published on my blog.  Oh well better late than never
These Mailboxes are so cute and the best part is it holds a box for goodies inside.  I just did them the way the Cricut has them but I have some cute ideas for some decorations. I better get busy because Valentines is just a couple of days away.  I just thought I would show them to you just in case you were look for something just like this.  I cut them from Valentines 3D Mailbox cartridge.  I must say it took be awhile to figure out how to put it together.  If you are having trouble just search it on youtube.

I used La Vie En Rose paper pack.  It is the flower one.  The middle box is more manly and is called Urban.  The end one is using a plain cardstock Cotton Candy.  I made several 3x3 cards from the  Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge to go in them.
