Artiste Cricut Cartridge Cuts page 32

Okay well I got a little sidetracked but that is a good thing.  It's the 6th of Aug and I am only on the second page of cuts.  There are so many new things to share with you.  So let's get started.
Here are the cuts I made from page 32 in the Artiste Handbook.  The Card and Envelope are cut at 4", 2 tags cut at 3", Font at 1 1/2", flower and leaves at 1 1/2", Corner piece at 2". 
The Stamp Set I used on the Card is the Stamp of the Month for January 2013 Happy Valentine's S1301.  I use the water color pencils 3505 to color in the Roses and leaves.  I stamped the sentiment from 4 My Friend D1510.  The 3-D project is cut at 2" and stamped with this month's Stamp of the Month Baroque Borders S1208 with the new pigment mini inks set Basic Z2503 in Whisper.  You are going to love these.  You can see them here.  The Happy Birthday is from 4 My Friend D1510.

Here is the sign that I made from page 32 also.  I hung it around the neck of my soap bottle with some ribbon.  It is a bottle that I have had for years and put an olive oil stopper in it.  Now it is my soap dispenser.

The Accent 4/S piece is on the front of my card box holder here.
So all this is just on 1 key on the overlay.  All these images and we have only just begun. You can see that I did not do much to any of the cuts yet they are so cute.  The sky is the limit!

Artiste Cricut Cartridge Card Holder page 47

I love making Card Holders aka Magazine  holders.  I made this one to hold the 15 cards and envelopes from the Workshops on the Go Pear & Partridge Cardmaking Kit G1043. On page 47 in the  New Artiste Cricut Cartridge handbook is the Card Holder.  I used the Accent 3 key and the Accent 3/S key.  I cut this at Fit to Page which is 6".  I used the Pear & Partridge paper pack X7162B.  The outside of the box and the inside piece are from the same piece of paper but I use the opposite side.  So I just turned the mat and put it back in and cut the inside.  You also get an Assembly Instructions Booklet with your Artiste cartridge Yes! That is two booklets.  The card holder is on page 18 and it shows you where to fold and how to put everything together even where to place the glue.  It doesn't get much easier that that!

I made a flower from page 54 Accent 1/S at 3" from Hollyhock and sponged with Ruby.  I cut some of the flower off the new Colonial White Rosette Ribbon Z1800.  I cut the embellishment from Accent 4/S from Key Lime and sponged in Grey Wool (strange combo I know but I wanted to make it look old and it did).  I also use the new Burlap Ribbon Z1760, I love this and you will be seeing it on a lot of things.  I took this picture to early in the morning and the light was not right.  I will fill it with the cards and envelopes and take it again. This is so cute and what a great gift it would make.

Project Inspiration 2012 Autumn/Winter Idea Book: Space Party

These are all so cute.  Lucky for me there is a little boy in our Family.  I bet he will love it.

Artiste Cricut Cartridge page 31

Here is a sampling of what you can do with the new Close To My Heart Cricut cartridge Artiste.
First is the 3-D Object the Purse that I showed you yesterday.  Here it is before I decorated it.  All these cuts are from page 31 in the handbook and the first key on the overlay.  You can see the card with the envelope, Accent 1 doily and the border, plus the purse and the tag.

Here is the purse all decorated.  I used the Fit to Page button on my Cricut Expression which made it cut at 3 1/2".  I cut the boarder (Accent 1/S) at 3/4" and the Doily at 3".  The Tag above is cut at 3".  I will be showing you that later when it is decorated.

The card and envelope are cut at 4 1/2" stamped in Twilight with the Stamp of the Month Baroque Borders S1208 and the Avonlea Cardmaking workshop flair C1527 from the Workshop on the Go Cardmaking kit G1041.  I will post all the cards and a cute card holder later.  So don't miss this one!
I used Twilight ink to sponge everything you see here.  I used second generation Baroque Borders to stamp the inside of the card with the same image.

I can't forget to show you the Display Album Page that Jenn made it uses 2 doily's Accent 1 and Accent 4 from the first key on the overlay and page 31 in the handbook...  See all the Display Album pages here.  As you can see there are even more images that can be cut from page 31.  Let me know what you think.

July Card Class #3 Door Hanger

I love the Door Hanger from the Art Philosophy cartridge on page 25 Font Layer/S.  I can think of so many things to do with this but here is just one way you can decorate it.

I used the Crusin Paper Packet X7154B and I love the scrabble paper that is in this pack.  Great gift for someone you play Words With Friends with.  This would be great to use on game night over a water bottle with a Crystal light packet and some gum or filled with goodies that you like to have on hand.  Oh Chocolate! Chocolate would be gooooood!  Just sayin'...
I do these at fit to page and I can get 2 to a page.
The outside decoration was from page 34 Square7 and Decorative Layer to match.  It is stamped with this month's Stamp of the Month Live Out Loud S1207.  July 31 is the last day this will be available so get yours now.  The button is the Pewter Badge Buttons Z1704 I like to have these on hand, they have and adhesive-back to them and you can put them anywhere.
